  1. Product Requirements
  2. ====================
  3. HP PerfRX Analysis Software provides the user interface to
  4. performance data.  It does not actually collect the data.  The
  5. HP Performance Collection Software, which is available as a
  6. separate product for HP-UX and Sun or as part of the HP GlancePlus
  7. Pak bundle, is required to do the actual collection of performance
  8. data.
  9.  
  10. Hardware Requirements:
  11. ----------------------
  12. PerfRX requires an HP9000 Series 600, 700, or 800 system with
  13. the following minimum configuration:
  14.  
  15. * A minimum of 16 MBytes of memory
  16.  
  17. * Approximately 20 MBytes of free disk space
  18.  
  19. * Color graphics monitor with a minimum of 1024 x 768 resolution
  20.   and 6 color planes required, 1280x1024 and 8 color planes
  21.   recommended.
  22.  
  23. * A PostScript printer if you want to print graphs directly from
  24.   PerfRX.  PCL printers are not supported.
  25.  
  26. Software Requirements:
  27. ----------------------
  28. * HP-UX version 8.0 or later (HP-UX version 8.08 is not supported)
  29.  
  30. * X-Window System (Motif).  The Motif X server display station can
  31.   be a system other than the system running PerfRX if you plan to
  32.   export the DISPLAY.
